UFO Reports

"By denying the reality of the reports, brushing aside the witnesses (including trained observers like pilots or military personnel) and treating them like fools or crooks, the academic skeptics are actually teaching the public that science is impotent at studying the phenomenon. As the belief in the reality of UFOs grows among the population along with the evidence that a real phenomenon exists, people naturally tend to turn away from science in their search for answers, and that is a very dangerous trend."

This is an extremely good quote by Jacques Vallee, who has a long and distinguished career in the study of UFOs. The logic could be applied to many forms of human endeavor.

And I like the sound of your blog. I have been a pilgrim for many years without finding any answers to the enigma of UFOs. I regard myself as a rational skeptic, who finds the phenomena almost inexplicable but I would like to be there to kick the tires of the first one to land, preferably on the White House lawns.

Sadly enough, I do think science is impotent right now in regards to the study of UFO's. Not enough of them take it seriously. But it will change someday hopefully.
