My Strange Experience #5
During a dental examination at Navy boot camp in San Diego, California the dentist casually asked me how I had broken my nose. I replied that my nose had never been broken. He laughed and said that it most certainly had been broken. I asked how he knew and he said that he could see cartilage inside my right nostril protruding at an angle which indicated that my nose had been broken. To the best of my knowledge, I had never had my nose broken prior to that point in time. I promptly forgot about the incident until years later when I read about people claiming to have had implants forced up into their nostrils.
